Course Summary:
Make a value painting with black and white acrylic paint
Paint over the acrylic value painting with Oil paints.
Using Cold Wax to add depth to dried oil paint the proper way, Encaustic Painting
Explore Tonalism in Oil Painting, using earth colors to show mood through light and shadow
Explore Baroque Oil Painting, the use drama, deep colors, theatrical lighting, sharp shadows, and dark backgrounds in the painting.
Or…..the student can explore Abstraction or Expressionism or any other painting style they want to research online without a handout and guidance.
