Mixed Media Class with Sue Hrubes

Part mixed-media class, part basic drawing class, Sue Hrubes will broaden your understanding of what can be achieved using a pencil, watercolor or acrylic paints, and mixed media. Don’t be afraid—think outside the box! A class for all experience levels. Come and join us on our adventure!
In this series, students will create wintery scenes by painting a matte medium/water mixture on paper, wiping away any mistakes, and adding ice skaters! Additional supplies needed: matte medium and tightly closing jar.

“Spots of Love” Childrens’ Valentine’s Day Party

Put on your safari hats, and join us for a wild Valentine’s adventure! In this fun-filled class, students will create their very own "love-covered" cheetahs, featuring vibrant colors and heart-shaped spots, all while enjoying some sweet Valentine's Day treats. Pre-Registration Required.

Oil Painting with Doreen Currie

Introduction to Photoshop with Marian Grata

In this workshop led by local artist and Latrobe Art Center Gallery Assistant Marian Grata, students will learn the basics of Adobe Photoshop for photo editing and photo restoration. Students will have the opportunity to troubleshoot and begin to develop their own editing process. Choose from sample photos provided in class or bring your own to edit!

"Like What You Paint" with Debbie King

Still Life Watercolor Painting with Peg Panasiti

Have some fun with watercolors as Peg Panasiti shows you how to start, develop, and put the finishing touches on your creation. Each week a new still life subject will be set up for you to paint with step-by-step instructions.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at least 2 weeks prior to the start date of the class will be issued a full refund less a 25% processing fee. All requests for refunds must be made in writing to info@latrobeartcenter.org. Cancellations made less than 2 weeks prior to the start date of the class will be issued a 50% refund. Emergency exceptions will be made at the discretion of Latrobe Art Center.
