Activities Running All Week Long!
Enjoy a wide range of family-friendly activities all week long throughout Downtown Latrobe!

Selfie Garden (located in James H. Rogers Park and the Downtown Latrobe Parklet)

Fred Rogers Exhibits (located at Latrobe Art Center and Latrobe Area Historical Society)

Monday, June 7th
Begin reading along in our Daniel Tiger Storybook Walk, hunting for famous quotes by Mister Rogers in our Mister Rogers Quotation Quest, and taking part in other week long activities! (See “Additional Event Resources” below for details and activity materials)
Tuesday, June 8th
BOTH TIME SLOTS FOR STORYTIME NOW FULL!
Enjoy a beatiful day at the Latrobe Farmer’s Market located at Legion Keener Park from Noon - 4:00 p.m. accompanied by a children’s story hour with Adams Memorial Library and WQED! Pre-registration for story time (taking place at 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.) is required.
Space in each time slot is limited!
Wednesday, June 9th (2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.)
Shop til you drop during Downtown Latrobe’s “Beautiful Night in the Neighborhood” Shop Hop Night! In between visiting Latrobe’s wonderful merchants, stop by Latrobe Art Center to decorate Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood cookies with Dainty Pastry Shoppe and Latrobe Art Center volunteers (while supplies last), and enjoy live entertainment by Derek Woods in Downtown Latrobe’s parklet from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

Friday, June 11th
*Register below for our Friday Movie Night taking place at Legion Keener Park! Pre-registration is required for this activity.
Join us for a fun-filled movie night at Legion Keener Park! Pre-movie entertainment with Laurel Valley Academy of Dance begins at 7:30 p.m. followed by a Mister Rogers Neighborhood and Daniel Tiger movie night at 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 12th
Enjoy a fun-filled day of activities and crafts as we celebrate the FINAL DAY of Mister Rogers Family Days!
Activities include:
Crafts with Latrobe Art Center (located at the old Dollar General building across the street from the art center)
Chalk the Walk at Adams Memorial Library

Locate the book pages and read along in our Daniel Tiger Storybook Walk (taking place ALL WEEK LONG)! As you find each page, record the code word on our Storybook Walk worksheet, and return it to the Adams Memorial Library to receive a special prize! (while supplies last)
Mister Rogers Quotation Quest Information & Materials: (Activity Running All Week Long)
Go on a quest to locate some of Mister Rogers’ famous quotes for the chance to win a special Latrobe Merchant Prize Basket! Visit the merchants listed on the Quotation Quest Worksheet, record the quote found at each location, and bring your completed sheet to Latrobe Art Center when your quest is complete to receive tickets for your chance to win! (4 quotes = 1 ticket & 6 quotes = 2 tickets)
Downtown Latrobe Scavenger Hunt Details & Form: (On Saturday ONLY)
Using the clues on the form below, find each of the notable locations throughout downtown Latrobe! As you find each one, a volunteer will greet you and place a sticker in each block. Once your hunt is complete, bring your completed form back to Latrobe Art Center for a gift and a chance to wine a special Fred Rogers themed basket!
