Meet our newest addition to the Latrobe Art Center family!
Stop by the Art Center for this open house and meet our new executive director, Lauren Buches. Grab a light bite or two from Ricolita’s Café. View our current exhibition, Paint Out (artwork created en plein air in and around Latrobe). Connect with other art-creating and art-loving friends of Latrobe Art Center!
Curious about what Pour Painting is? Check out the July 19 Pour Painting class [insert hyperlink to class link], going on during the open house. (Note: participation in the Pour Painting class is an additional cost.)
A Latrobe native and lover of the arts and local history, Lauren Buches graduated from Greater Latrobe Senior High School in 2006. She earned Bachelor’s degrees in history and journalism from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010. For the past eight years Lauren has honed her skills at several nonprofits, including Bushy Run Battlefield, Carnegie Museums of Art & Natural History and, most recently, Westmoreland Heritage—working with community partners to promote the historic and cultural treasures of Westmoreland County, including Latrobe Art Center and the Great American Banana Split Celebration.
